I am a person of many interests but never enough time.

Born in Paris in 1989, now living in Los Angeles since 2007.

Listening and looking for the unexpected.

Telling stories, future, and past.

Breaking the rules is my favorite pastime.

László Bolender works in video, code, sculpture, music/performance, print, and more often than not a combination of these methods. Drawing from the intricacies of languages, semantics, and asemic iconography, his body of work aims to question the audience and its systems of communication, its hierarchy, and its notion of value versus worth in a society driven by capitalism.

His most recent works include videos that are heavily processed via visual programming and translated into music, or vice-versa. Constant reinterpretations of his performances, recorded on camera or in audio formats, are the motif that he is currently exploring, with observations made through the degradation that inherently occurs.

Since 2013, he has operated a record label/sound laboratory named Triangle Wave Records, which acts as his own personal workshop, production house, and sanctuary.
